Dawn Smith Registered Dietitian
Dawn has established her private practice alongside her NHS work providing expert professional dietary advice. Dawn is based in the North East of England and is happy to advise clients from around the region including Durham,Newcastle Upon Tyne, Gateshead Tyne & Wear,Sunderland, Teeside and Northumberland.
Dawn works part time as the Lead Specialist Dietitian in the Adult Regional Allergy & Immunology Unit at Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Trust advising adults with food allergies and food intolerances.
Dawn is the Lead Specialist Dietitian for people with Coeliac disease and runs the Dietitian led Annual Coeliac Review service at Newcastle Upon Tyne NHS Hospitals NHS Trust.

Dawn has 25 years experience as a Dietitian with 19 years experience working in Food Allergy & food intolerances including IBS. Dawn has 21 years experience working with people with Coeliac Disease, Gluten sensitivities and within gastroenterology including experience with inflammatory bowel disease.
Dawn is a member of the British Dietetic Association specialist interest groups for food allergy,gastroenterology and the Freelance Dietitian's group.
Dawn Presents annually at a Regional Food Allergy Study Day for Gp's and other healthcare professionals.
Dawn Has participated in medical publications relating to Coeliac disease and presented a clinical poster at BSACI 2015 (British Society of Allergy & Clinical Immunology)
